Salzburg & Königssee

I am so excited to share more of these two locations as a bonus post. Salzburg is a place that holds a piece of my heart, and Königssee is by far the most beautiful place I have ever been. I am so grateful to have been able to feature both of these locations in my wedding day. Within an hour of our engagement, Hunter and I joked about getting married abroad in Austria. After exploring local venues and discussing what was important to us about our wedding day, we realized that this option was actually the best choice for both of us. Sharing these places with our loved ones was an experience of a lifetime, and we have the photographs to remember it by.

Hunter and I were lucky enough to have two of the most talented, genuine and kind wedding photographers we ever could have asked for. I discovered Melli & Shayne through Instagram, and followed them early on in our wedding process, before we were even certain about where we would get married. Once it became clear that a wedding in Austria was happening, securing them as our wedding photographers was our first goal. We could not be more happy with the results, and I am so grateful that they have allowed me to share some of their images here. Melli & Shayne took stunning photographs of us, our families, and our friends. They also captured the beauty of Salzburg and Königssee. To see more of Melli & Shayne’s stunning work, find them at their website or their Instagram. If you are getting married abroad, my hope is that sharing these images and our amazing experience here will inspire you to include them in your day as well!

Thank you so much to Melli & Shayne for allowing me to share your images of my favorite place. I will never stop appreciating the beauty you captured for us.

And, today happens to be my eleven year dating anniversary with my husband, Hunter. I am so grateful for him, for the memories of our wedding day almost two years ago, and for all of the adventures we will share in the future.
